Hurricane Beryl Updates

Due to structural damage to The Crossing’s main sanctuary from Hurricane Beryl, Sunday services will be temporarily held in The Loft Church at The Woodlands Methodist Church Campus until November 2024. 

November 21, 2024 We’re thrilled to announce our return date to The Crossing campus is Sunday, December 1st! We’ll have our regular 9 and 11 AM services at our Main Auditorium, just in time for Christmas. We can’t wait to worship with you again at our home church!

Continued Weekly Programs as of November 21, 2024

Sundays: 3 PM In-Person Main Service, Crossing Kidz Service, and Crossing Bridge Service at The Loft Church.

Tuesdays: Tuesday Morning Prayer, Crossing Young Adults Service (Ages 18-30)

Wednesdays: Crossing Students Service (Grades 9-12)

Sundays: 9 AM & 11 AM In-Person Services

Thursdays: Thursday Noon Prayer

Tuesday, September 10, 2024 – Due to extensive construction repair for the main auditorium, The Crossing campus will be closed from Friday, September 20 to Saturday, September 21. This closure applies to all activities, including office hours, childcare, and life groups typically meeting on campus.

Monday, August 7, 2024 – We have secured a temporary meeting location at The Loft Church on The Woodlands Methodist Church campus. 

  • First Meeting Date: August 18 at 3:00 PM
  • Address: 9201 Grogans Mill Rd, The Woodlands, TX 77380
  • Full nursery, Kidz ministry, and Bridge ministry (5th-8th grade) will be available!

Monday, August 5, 2024 – We have secured a temporary location to meet at The Woodlands Methodist Church in the Loft, but our first service date and time are to be determined. On Sunday, August 11, we will continue to livestream our Sunday service at 10 AM. 

Wednesday, July 24, 2024 – The Baptism Sunday Service on Sunday, July 27 and Family Skate Night on Sunday, August 11 have been canceled.

Wednesday, July 17, 2024 – An important announcement from Pastor Randy in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.

  • Damage Assessment: Our auditorium was damaged by a fallen tree and water, requiring significant repairs to trusses, carpet, and technical equipment. This will take several months to complete.
  • Service Plans: Sunday services on July 21, 28, and August 4 will be broadcast live online only at 10 AM. We are seeking a temporary location for weekend services and will update you once plans are finalized.
  • Continued Ministry: Weekly programs for Tuesday Morning Prayer, Crossing Students, Crossing Young Adults, and life groups will continue as the relevant buildings are intact and usable. Thursday Noon Prayer is suspended for the foreseeable future.
  • Support and Encouragement: Please communicate your needs through life group leaders, calling the church at (281) 292-2909, or emailing the church at church@thecrossing.cc.

Wednesday, July 10, 2024Hurricane Beryl caused significant structural damage to the roof of our sanctuary.

  • Extensive repairs are needed; the sanctuary roof and equipment are structurally affected.
  • The Women’s TableTalk Breakfast on July 13th is cancelled.
  • Sunday, July 14th service will be online only at 10 AM.
  • Crossing Young Adults, Student Ministries, and Life Groups meeting on campus will resume July 14th. Tuesday Morning Prayer and Thursday Noon Prayer will relocate to the Student Building.
  • Campus closed on Sundays for the foreseeable future.
  • The Crossing Care is here to provide ministry and assistance to individuals and families who call The Crossing  Church their church home. If you need help or assistance, please fill out our Disaster Relief Care Form. We will do our very best to help.
  • If you feel led to help individuals financially impacted by events that affect an entire community, you can donate to our HOPE Fund for Relief.
